Installation)

NOTE: The wiring diagram is located behind the

control panel, inside the control cabinet.

Grounding and Wiring Instructions

NOTE: Single electrical connection serves both

washer and dryer.

The electric service must be a separate branch,

polarized, three-wire and ground, 120/240 Volt, or

120/208 Volt, 60 Hertz, AC single phase circuit fused

with 40 Ampere fuses.

The cord (supplied with dryer) and plug assembly

(obtain locally) should be plugged into an approved

receptacle that is mounted on the wall adjacent to the

unit. This receptacle should be accessible to the user or

service person when the unit is in position, to permit

disconnecting when necessary.

If the branch circuit to the dryer unit is 4.57 m (15 ft.)

or less in length, use U.L. (Underwriters Laboratories)

listed No. 10 A.W.G. wire (copper wire only) or as

required by local codes. If over 4.57 m (15 ft.), use

U.L. (Underwriters Laboratories) listed No. 8 A.W.G.

wire (copper wire only), or as required by local codes.

To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or

personal injury, all wiring and grounding

MUST conform with the latest edition of the

Canadian Electrical Code, Parts I and II, and

such local regulations as might apply. It is

the customer’s responsibility to have the

wiring and fuses checked by a qualified

electrician to make sure the laundry room

has adequate electrical power to operate the

unit.
